High Water on the Illinois

Last Thursday we were down on the Illinois River at Peoria to show our beautiful World Cat 266LC. Drove in the rain for the duration of the trip. Coming over the bridge at Locon, you could see the river was already over its banks. When we got to the IVY Club, the wall was already underwater and the fuel dock was floating out in the middle of the Yacht Club with its walk way covered up. See our photos on our website at "MAD News". Subsequently they closed several of the Illinois locks and now the river is closed and the water is still rising. The upper Mississippi is also closed. No one will be coming north anytime soon...
